Marisa Adler
Consultant
Marisa Adler is a consultant working in the space of textile recovery and circularity. Over the past two decades, she has worked across nonprofit, public, and private sectors to support solutions that help organizations move toward more circular and environmentally conscious materials management practices. Marisa began her career in the New York City Department of Sanitation overseeing citywide waste reduction and recycling programs, and most recently founded the textile circularity practice at Resource Recycling Systems (RRS), designing value chain solutions, informing extended producer responsibility, and guiding organizations through the complexities of textile waste management and recycling infrastructure.
Marisa contributes to broader industry efforts through board service with SMART (Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles Association) and as chair of the NYSAR3 Textile Recycling Council. She earned her B.S. at Cornell University and M.S. at Antioch New England Graduate School.
